Designed for turntable setup, calibration checks, RPM Clamp gives you a quick way to see how accurately your platter is running at 33⅓ or 45 RPM.

Why we built it

RPM Clamp started as a tool we needed ourselves.

While cutting a record, one of our cutting heads placed more load on the platter than expected and caused the turntable speed to slow down. We hadn't calibrated the cutting speed correctly against playback, and the mistake meant we had to forgo the order.

We wanted a simple way to see exactly what the platter was doing in real time without relying on a strobe disc, manual cutting and playback, or guesswork.

So we built RPM Clamp.
